2. Seattle Underground

In 1907, a young man started the American Messenger Company, now known as Pioneer Square in Seattle. Later, that company turned into the United Parcel Service (UPS). In 1975, however, UPS closed its original Seattle location and moved its headquarters to Connecticut.
